Nestled amongst the foothills of World Heritage-listed Mt Barney National Park, Mt Barney Lodge provides a welcomed change of pace to a hectic city life. Located only 90 minutes from Brisbane or the Gold Coast and removed from any main roads, Mt Barney attracts an array of guests from the nature enthused to the adventure seeker; family groups, couples or corporate groups.
Mt Barney Lodge offers a variety of Eco-Certified accommodation to suit all budgets and desires. Our accommodation sleeps a total of 46 guests spread amongst beautiful Queenslander Homesteads, rustic Cabins and Deluxe Camper Trailers. Our spacious campground holds a maximum of 100 people.

Spectacular wilderness walks, mountain streams, rock climbing, abseiling and a luscious campground are what draws school groups to Mt Barney Lodge. Centre based camps at Mt Barney Lodge are best suited to groups of about 30....an ideal number to partake in team building and adventure activities close to the lodge. School camps consisting of larger numbers are expedition based and are situated in spectacular national parks such as Mt Barney, Girraween and Lamington.

Whether it be for school camps, families, corporate groups or craft groups, catered meals is that added option to allow you to truly relax. The staff at Mt Barney Lodge can provide delicious home cooked meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, morning or afternoon tea) to your table. School camps have the option of the Lodge supplying them with various meals designed especially for expeditions, high energy activities and Trangia stove cooking.
All groups can choose to self cater as there are kitchens and cooking utensils in all buildings.
